Restaurant bewertenBread Man makes some great pizza. My only complaint is they're not open late night. I remember being in grade school and getting Bread Man on 'pizza day' so getting a slice from here just brings back some great childhood memories! (You know the only good part of grade school ha ha) It's a small local place, so the food is home/hand made, it's not frozen dough and ingredients like major chains, it's really really good pizza! If only they were open later (I tend to eat later at night!)
The food is good, theres no doubt about that. but I won't be coming back and ive already got quite a few people who don't go anymore either. when it comes to the service, I'm sure most of the time the people who work there are great.. but theres a man who works there, a bit older maybe in his late 40's-50s with short dark hair, has no idea how to serve customers. he is incredibly rude, sarcastic, discriminatory, and driving customers away regularly. I will forever let people know that this place has good food, terrible service and most people actually bring up how awful his service is before i even have to mention it. great job bud!!
I have fond memories of the breadmans pizza from elementary school pizza days. They make these gigantic pizzas for hundreds of kids and they're really quite delicious. They still are delicious now, a couple years out of school ;) but the only problem is they close at 8pm which doesn't usually work for me so I hardly ever get to order from there. The ingredients are all super fresh and you can taste this in the pizza slices, it's definitely worth getting!
Gotta love an ethnic bakery that also has a lunch counter and dinning room area. The food is good and the roles are always fresh to go along with the pasta and salad. Worth a visit to this original place in the east land plaza.
Their green pizza with broccoli and all that jazz + franks redhot sauce = vegetarian pizza for all!!!If you haven't tried it, do it. They've got some of the best deserts in the city too. Love those custard packzi. It looks like they have a changing lunch counter that I'm going to have to try someday too. The ladies in there are always friendly too!
