Yogurtology - Sarasota

This place is a mess! The owner must take responsibility, something is wrong. The yogurt choices have expired and the employees are more interested in phones. I will add that this was the case of 2022. I used to be half normal. Where the great reviews come from a real riddle!

This place is so dirty I was almost embarrassed to be inside. The screens of at least 5 yogurt brands are falling out/broken. There is trash everywhere outside of the store in the area where you can sit. To add insult to injury, the prices are exorbitant. That said yogurts that were available are good and there are many choices of toppings.

My daughter and her friend went there at around 9 pm. They said they filled up their cups and went to pay and there wasn’t a sole in sight. They called out and nothing. One of them went back to the kitchen and said no one was there. Honesty that poor service and kinda creepy. They wound up throwing away what they had made and went somewhere else.

We haven’t been here in several years. My wife and I stopped back in May while vacationing to celebrate her 50th. We thought the conditions of the place had really gone down hill but thought perhaps it was a fluke due to a busy schedule but we are here for the week with our 3 grown kids and they were even more disappointed than us. Tonight on our 2nd attempt of this trip we walked out before even getting anything. Garbages were still overflowing, tables and floor were disgusting, more than half of the units were either broken or empty and not putting out any yogurt. It’s really disgusting and gross. There wasn’t a single employee in sight. I wouldn’t be surprised if the place closes up. Even the outdoor sign is only half lit up. Clearly management doesn’t care and that is reflective in the cleanliness and appearance of the establishment. What a shame as it has been a family favorite since we started visiting in 2011.

This place is run by teenagers with no work ethic. We showed up at 9:25, when google says they close at 10. They were mopping the floors. When we asked if they were open, a rude blonde teen girl said “yea, but I just mopped the floors”. When we asked wether or not we could get yogurt, she just stared at us. Maybe get some real management in this place, just a recommendation.
