Pecorino Trattoria Vila Nova Conceição

We were there for lunch and the servings were great. Food was very well prepared and the best salad buffet. Wonderful. I will be back there next time in São Paulo.

An Italian restaurant in Villa Nova Concecao, a suburb of Sao Paulo. The setting offered both indoor and outdoor dining, with a great ambiance. The menu provided plenty of choices to satisfy any pallet. I had the broiled salmon and vegetables. My friends also had seafood, but chose other than salmon. The meal also came with an all you can eat buffet. The buffet came with 2 types of ceviche, roasted potatoes, every vegetable under the sun and then some. Would certainly go back.

Good codfish with vegetables, reasonably priced, papaya cream was a little bit watery

This popular Italian spot has a delicious salad bar at lunch time, though the pasta was we ordered was disappointing. During our visit here last week, we were blown away by the salad bar. It offered a decent number of options but what really made it stand apart was the thoughtful variety and quality of the dishes included. My gnocchi with three cheese sauce on the other hand did not live up to our expectations, which had been built up by the salad bar. It came with so much cheese sauce that the dish looked more like a soup. I was hoping for a bold Parmesan-like taste but it had more of a subdued cream sauce vibe. We will definitely return here again, though next time we’ll both stick to the salad bar.
