Restaurant bewertenWe stay here so decided to use the restaurant. lively family-run place with local wine and eating. had an incredibly healthy meal of salad, salt meadow (delicious generous portions) and fresh fruit with local wine. good value and delicious.
The only positive at this place is the place where it is located. the food was nothing special (we had pasta (not specifically paid for the price), wild boar (not delicious at all), and lamb aprons (dry and burnt). Anyway, the table was bad, from the fried chips, to the brot, the chourico and the supplements. the deserts were only disappointed. not fresh. even the koks were rusted on the whole dose. finally came the bill! for a meal that was no more worth than a place not to visit again.
They are open and we can eat hours. very good and typical Portuguese food. to repeat a break.
I, my wife and our two children had eaten last august in a deolinda. the place is very nice and the eating was good, despite the very limited menu. when the bill arrived, however, they had an extra of euro for a service consisting of minislices of local cheese, superminislices of chouriço and a tiny part of patè (that, I accept, is a service for people, but at the end we paid for the ones of us). it is a pity that so many Portuguese restaurant owners continue to try to increase their income with excessive service prices and unordered plates. that spoils the entire customer experience. in any case there are much better restaurants in santiago do caçem I would not hesitate to recommend.
Happened upon this cute, out of the way restaurant, and it was great! The owner/cook was very helpful even thoug our Portugese is minima. I had the squid kabobs, my wife had fried pork with clams and my daughter had an octopus entree. All were...very well done. Real Portugese home cooking. Dessert was also good. Price was very reasonable considering the quality and size of the meals. Definately worth stopping here if you are in the area.
