Restaurant bewertenWe recently enjoyed handcrafted cocktails in front of the fireplace on a chilly fall evening. There was a local musician playing Spanish style guitar in the corner and the server brought us tapas (dried apricots and roasted chick peas) to enjoy with our drinks. I think some of the furniture could use a little makeover, the couch in front of the fireplace was a little musty, but we generally enjoy the atmosphere in the lounge and can always count on a good cocktail here.
5 stars for Wed and Sat music nights. Fantastic spanish guitar. Fabulous Tamarind margarita, which won a best of cocktail in SBA for good reason. Soon they will have some more plant based vegan options (impt for us dairy free/meat free folks if even not full vegan). They would get a 3 for current bar menu offerings but i know they are improving this so overall they still get the 5 star. It looks so fab during the holidays too!
Five stars for the service we received from Emilio our server. I recommend going for happy hour as the prices are better!
The food here surpasses that of Bella Vista, the resort's main restaurant. There’s a large TV that was showing sports, which made it quite loud. However, the ambiance is fantastic and the place has a great vibe. I believe there’s also an option to sit on the patio. I would definitely eat here again.
The cocktail menu is both creative and extensive, complemented by a noteworthy wine list. I highly recommend the Smoked Apricot Daiquiri; it's slightly sweet with a hint of smokiness from the chipotle spice—truly a vacation in a glass. You can choose appetizers from the lounge menu or enjoy complimentary bar snacks upon request. I sampled the Buffalo Cauliflower, and it was fantastic! It's more of a sweet and spicy Asian-inspired sauce rather than the traditional American buffalo sauce. This venue caters wonderfully to both locals and resort guests alike. On a recent Thursday night visit, I unexpectedly ran into four locals I know, so there's no need to feel out of place if you're not staying at the resort. They offer live music almost every day and have generous Happy Hour specials from Monday to Thursday, 4 PM to 6 PM. If you’re looking to explore something different or need a break from the usual Downtown Santa Barbara or Funk Zone scene, I highly recommend a visit to Ty Lounge!
