Moby Dick - Santa Barbara

We have eaten here previously and enjoyed the food and the experience. This time we clearly made the wrong choice the shared mixed seafood platter. It was horrible! Everything (even the shrimp with their tail shells still on) was covered in batter! The clam chowder we started with was tasteless! The service was very good. The location and ambience are very good.

What a change from 2 years ago! More changes are coming according to the manager, but we had to visit the new Oyster Bar, which did not disappoint. One thing that chaps my Hyde, if you're a local and buy the Waterfront parking pass at now, $150.00 annual per year, you would think they are valid for parking on the Wharf. NOPE, NOT VALID! What gives SB City Waterfront Parking managers????

Victor the bartender gave us so much attitude after we realized we double tipped him and asked to adjust it. When we found out we left a 60% tip (on the card plus equally in cash) and asked to adjust it, he said he closed out and couldn't adjust the tab. Then when we asked if we can get the cash back he rolled his eyes and slapped the $20 on the bar. Afterwards, he kept giving us looks until we felt uncomfortable and left. We left him a 30% tip and yet he got annoyed. Killed the whole vibe

Absolutely AMAZING!! Price wasn't bad as other customers were saying at all because the food was delicious!! Best filet I've ever had with a seafood pasta that was to die for! Plus I had grilled asparagus with a Romesco Sauce! “so much more than pesto” really outstanding! Dessert we had bread pudding that was perfect! Our server was amazing too! Definitely will be back SOON! I'm a chef from the Central Valley I 100% approve appreciate this food service! Thank you
