Restaurant bewertenChoosing zero stars isn 't allowed here but that 's what it deserves. The greasiest of the greasy spoons . I ordered a breakfast platter which was just soaked in grease and my sausage had grits on it but my tasteless grits were in a separate bowl and saucer plate entirely almost like they took it from someone else 's plate. Neither of us enjoyed our meals and we were so nauseous and couldn 't even talk about it the entire rest of the trip. It 's still known as the place that shall not be named.
First timer here, wanted to try something new, went with the biscuits with sausage gravy platter, at first I liked it, it was new to me, but it is something that is so heavy the more you eat it the more you get tired of it. The grits were pretty bad, none like I ever had before, must be made of a more Grindy material. The eggs are made to your liking and the juice was fresh. I'd comeback for something else
On our way to Richmond airport we decided to try this dinner rather than Waffle House down the street. Wife and I shared the ‘He Man’ breakfast platter and not only it is affordable $9.95, it was delicious and plentiful! Service was fast and waitress are friendly, wish we have a place like this in Cville!
June 15, 2019 On my 3rd trip to M&P I ordered 2 meals to go, the Bacon Burger $5.50) and Meatloaf $8.50). When I got home I first ate ¼ of the French Fries first. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. On to the Bacon Burger. Excellent Burger! I ate only half, and set one half aside for later. Then the Meatloaf. Also excellent; I hope to repeat that. There was also a piece of Cornbread. Quite good; also worth repeating. The Cornbread comes with Land O Lakes Fresh Buttery Taste Spread. I CAN believe it 's not butter, but of all the fake butters I 've tried, this is close to the top. the Cornbread was a bit on the sweet side, which is fine with me. Later in the evening I finished off the Bacon Burger and Meatloaf. They reheated quite well and were just as good as the first time. The Fries were still rather ~meh~. I look forward to returning.
Cheap and good coffee are the only things that can be said. There is no excuse in the South for cold, runny grits. Bacon and hasbrowns were undercooked. Not a clean or pleasant atmosphere. Waitress was indifferent and the other was eating and drinking coffee behind the counter. Wow. Do it recommend.
