During a short break in San Sebastian, my friends and I were lucky to sit on a chef and his wife one night. They laughed with us about our clunkiness for Spanish food, but added to our choice of wine. A conversation followed, and Chef Raphael recommended this place. We were quickly out of the ball and managed to secure a booking for Friday night. We weren't disappointed what we were looking for. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were politely told by the cook to return 10 minutes later. A wonderful experience the food was exalted, great choices on the menu simply, but tasteful and we swallowed every bite. We had crabs, steaks, puddings and wine. Amazing experience we will not forget. Cooking best. The waiting staff was very helpful and accommodating. Every person who eats this evening has been recommended to visit. Look for this place, find out where it is and do not leave Donastia without eating here! Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful experience. Don't wait until the next time!
