Mauna Loa Hawaiian Bbq - San Rafael

This place is garbage...loco Moco is frozen thin patties, my eggs were boiled over ..and the Teriyaki chicken was not even cooked with sauce on it ...and over price ..

Too expensive, little food and yes I paid $21 for bbq beef, never again

In the shade of the popular restaurant Sol is this small place. Because of the pandemic, all orders are out. Call ahead to save time on waiting. I like the Hawaiian BBQ chicken dish. It is tasty but simple ( chicken, white rice and side). I wish a healthy Hawaiian version of the plate where the rice is brown and the side is a simple salad or inlaid veg or seaweed instead of Macaroni salad. It's a long wish, but I'd feel better to eat from there more often.

Good afternoon family! As you know I am a delivery driver and I try to go to new places I haven't been before. So on this day I was in San Raphael and it was finally able to go on my lunch when I stumbled across this Hawaiian good place. I was greeted by a nice young woman who took my order which took almost 15 min. I ordered their BBQ chicken lunch plate, the chicken was juicy, not too salty, the macaroni salad we very good to and the rice was perfect.

Very generous servings at reasonable prices! We got the chicken combo, Big Kahuna combo and a spam musubi. The food was all delicious!
