Oh don't miss this fabulous bakery,what a treat it is , the older guy showed us around the bakery and we got to see the pannattones rising in the proving oven lots of samples and came away with some kind of vanilla and chocolate cake so worth a visit.

Without a doubt the best cantuccini biscuits in Italy! A wonderful pasticceria which has been run by the same family for five generations. A visit is a must if you stay in San Miniato.

This bakery had been in Paolo Gazzarrini's family for 5 generations. The quality is exceptional.He uses the best ingredients. You've not tasted Italian pastries until you've tasted Il Cantuccio's. More love and passion goes in to his confections than you can imagine. Make sure to buy the cantuccino, they travel well and will remind you of Il Cantuccio for months after you return home if they last that long. The fruit crostate are amazing. He has a big selection of dessert wines too.
