Toma Taco - San Marcos

This place is fantastic! The taco plate is amazing and reminds me of the spots back home in Harlingen and throughout the Rio Grande Valley. I highly recommend coming here, but be aware that some days and evenings can get quite busy, which may lead to a longer wait for your order. Nevertheless, it's worth it to eat here, and we'll happily wait when they take our order.

We accidentally stumbled upon this place and we're so glad we did! It was some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and helpful, and although our wait was a bit longer than expected, it was absolutely worth it. The flavors were phenomenal. We ordered the special, and it did not disappoint!

This was my first visit here. The enchiladas were okay, and the gravy was great — it reminded me of Houston. Unfortunately, the enchiladas themselves were a bit dry. Additionally, the floors in the dining area could use some cleaning.

Eat here is delicious. Breakfast food especially. her picadillo is really good, I also like to add her rice like mais, heirsen and carrots. they could add a little more salt or taste to the rice, but it is still good. it will be packed here, so prepared when they eat during the busy hours.

Mini Tacos fairly good, carne guisada plate was good too, charro beans sucked, way overspiced hot salsas lacking heat. Moderate prices but nothing here to bring me back again.
