Manna Heaven Bbq - San Marcos

My family and I have had some frustrating experiences coming here. There are these two older women we usually get as our servers that always have the meanest looks, terrible customer service attitudes, and will try to hurry us up with ordering and STILL forget 1 thing out of the 5 things we ask for. Our latest visit, they kept giving us cold dumplings and when we complained and asked for warm hot ones, they still gave us cold ones. Our server only asked us if we wanted to order more 3 times when we had a bigger group and she wouldn't let us order more than a few things at a time. She was also nowhere to be found for the most part. She would toss the plates onto the table and quickly walk away before we could ask for anything else.I gave this 2 stars in service instead of 1 because literally anyone other than these 2 women were very nice and attentive- but we rarely got anyone else to serve us.Regarding the menu, we very much love the variety this place has compared to other korean bbq places nearby. It's definitely a little pricier than what I usually pay, but it's good quality! I would love to come here more...but service really sucks. : It's not an enjoyable experience to be ignored and hungry- and hurried when we do get someone to take our order. We came on a thursday afternoon, the place wasn't even half full- I don't get why service was so bad. :

Nice place, cook your own BBQ style. Meat was good quality and prices were as expected. The hot sauce had good flavor and spicy level.Parking: A small mall parking lot, open spaces not far away but sometimes gets busy at the Nordahl location

Very busy Korean BBQ. Usually there's a wait, but takes about 15-20 minutes to get seated. The staff tends to be very attentive unless is overly busy. All food always looks and tastes fresh. Flavors are just great, the price is decent foe the quality and amount of food you can eat.Food: 5/5

Great food. They prep the tables now which I love. The last order we asked for was bulgogi and they gave us beef teriyaki; dropped it off without looking and moved on. Splitting checks (2) was too confusing.
