Amazing eating, great service, I will come back before I go

WISH I COULD GIVE IT MORE STARS!! The food was incredible, everything we got was great. Everyone had a clear plate. The owner was so sweet and and helpful. She explained what things were the process of how they prepared food. The waiter was very kind as well and gave us some great bar recommendations for the rest of the week. The atmosphere right down town was lovely. You NEED to eat here. Vegetarian friendly as well.

St. Germain Bistro Cafe nested in the heart of Old San Juan. This is a must for EVERY TRAVELER to San Juan. The vibe of the Bistro and Cafe is amazing and the wait staff are so attentive and personal. Using language like “thank you for joining us family.” I had the Quinoa bowl (three times) 1. With salmon and veggies... 2. With salmon veggies and THE FRESHEST KALE EVER 3. A Greek style bowl with salmon and THE FRESHEST KALE EVER. Everything served in this restaurant is fresh. My friend group of 5 visited four times during our 1 week stay. We tried almost every restaurant in San Juan and old San Juan trying to get the flavors of Puerto Rico. This is the place that kept calling towards our heart. Carrot, Coconut, Ginger soup was amazing. It’s pictures here below. Valerie and Carla were our servers who made the experience the best every time we walked through the doors. Ava at the bar took care of our drinks as well and is worthy of a shout out as well. HONESTLY, this is a place you have to pass through, you won’t be disappointed.

We came here after waiting way too long in a restaurant across the street and really glad we did. Server was prompt and attentive, she was outstanding. Food was amazing, really amazing by any standard. Taste, creativity of flavors and presentation were top notch. We hope we can stop in again before we leave the island!

Great place to eat: “lightweight”, healthy and tasty dinner (many vegetarian options but I ate the steak and that was great, too) and their cocktails are delightful and delicious! Service is friendly and very fast. Will come back.
