Restaurant bewertenTheir satays were good but I've had better at Pink Panda and some other places.. As for the Pho, the broth was good but they didnt give me enough seafood or herbs. Most of what was served with it was the sauces (sweet and the spicy) and noodles and bean sprouts. Even tho Phone how isn't the best, i still prefer their pho more.
Interior was nice. The ambience was good for a date night. The waitress was really nice to us and very accommodating. We were given water without asking for it. Thats all the good things. The food was so-so. It was not that special. It was okay but you wouldnt be recommending to others if they are looking for something unique. The worst part of the experience was when we were about to pay the bill. We handed her our card. But then she came back and asked for an ID. We were so offended! Like what?! That was the first time it happened to us. Is it because we were young? Is it because we wore plain clothes? We have been to other restaurants but it was the first time we experienced having an ID requested from us!
Nice place with interesting and aromatic food. Wonderful service, the waiters and waitresses are warm, attentive, and friendly. We're having springs rolls and satay for appetizers. The spring rolls are good and the satay are fragrant, slightly chewy, but good nonetheless. We had their green mango lapu lapu and their shaking beef as well. The lapu lapu is a bit small but delicious nonetheless. It's fresh and it is paired very well with the green mangoes. The shaking beef is quite tender and tasty. I'd recommend them both as safe orders. I got their garlic rice which is garlic-y - naturally, but lacks salt. We also tried their stuffed tofu and beef noodles. The stuffed tofu is crunchy and I'm not exactly sure what it's stuffed with because the sauce poured over it covered the content, but it's good. Not as tasty as I'd like but then it's tofu. The beef noodles is very scrumptious. The noodles are thick but bouncy and the herbs are very evident with each bite. The dish fits well together. For my drink, I had their bottomless jasmine iced tea which is good but a bit too sweet for me, though I imagine the lychee to be sweeter so I'm not complaining. The food is all good but it's not a place I'd make a trip specially for. I'd be fine to return when I'm in the area.

Ordered the Zao bowl (pictured). Looks great right? However it's not exceptional. Noodles were almost undercooked. Not enough meat. Too many spring rolls, all deep fried. Service is passable. Strange ambience, in the second floor of an open area above Tuan Tuan. If you're in the Greenhills area and craving Vietnamese food I guess this will do. But Pho Hoa in Virra Mall was tastier and had better value for money.
