Restaurant bewertenWe arrived around 10 PM, and our friends had already secured an outdoor table for us. I tried the al pastor and carne asada tacos, which were decent. The chavela was enjoyable and served in a large goblet glass. I didn't get a chance to check out the indoor seating, so I can't speak to that. I’ll have to come back to sample their other drinks next time.
I ordered the carne asada plate to go, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The meat was flavorful, and the beans, rice, and guacamole were above average as well. Don't be deceived by the restaurant's exterior; it's a small, tucked-away spot on a side street with loud music playing, but the food definitely makes it worth a visit. I can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes!
Incredibly authentic and delicious! Their salsa is both flavorful and spicy! They also offer a fantastic outdoor dining area and prioritize COVID safety.
The truck I ordered from at this location is named Sonora. I have went multiple times but each visit got worse. First the chicken was too hard, my limes were dried out, the Chile that's grilled was smashed and cold it wasn't even spicy so I know from the looks and taste it was not fresh. I asked for chips and got a small portion in a brown paper bag. Salsa is not consistent it went from red and spicy to orange and tasteless. Also I tried the Jamaica and it taste like water. Not returning again.
