Le Vecchie Mura - SAN GIMIGNANO

Fantastic setting on terrace for a nice meal. Food and wines were all superb and reasonably priced. Managed to get one of the last tables as a walk up but view still great from one of the back tables. Would recommend booking in advance if you want a front row table for the view.

Found by chance in the morning and had a coffee with croissants thrown and got chatting with Michael, the owner. Such a genuine hard working young man. Could not believe the view, it felt like we were in heaven! Returned for dinner at 6pm where we joined the Q! Boy was it worth it!! The most amazing cheeses, steaks cooked to perfection washed down with the best bottle of Vernaccia ever on Michaels recommendation. Such a perfect place where all guests enjoyed themselves and a lovely atmosphere. Even our dog settled down and behaved such was his happiness!! Would come back in a heart beat

No one asked us if our meals were okay, or checked in with us through the meal. Host and servers were not friendly, and the food was mediocre.

Posto magnifico, vista molto bella. Cibo ottimo. Servizio eccellente, staff gentile e simpatico. Prezzi giusti. Atmosfera perfetta, consigliatissimo per una cena tipica.

Menù tipico toscano abbastanza basico ma ben eseguito, che è l'importante. Veduta meravigliosa sulle colline che da sola vale la visita. Servizio attento. Rapporto qualità/prezzo discreto.
