Restaurant bewertenFood is great, but the service is the WORST. Recommend to go to Jane Bakery instead. Yes, the line can be longer, but trust me, you will get your order faster and the people are nicer.
I and my friend came here to get a quick bite, the sandwich was decent, but the juice had completely settled and already separated when I got it. The service on the other side... the girl in the register was so rude and cold. No smile, no warmth, made me feel very unwilling and honestly I will not be back for that.
Unfortunately, the quality of food has been reduced, the peanut butter taost is not roasted at all. I specifically asked for a well roasted toast, but its still dry. Extremely thin layer of butter I had to ask for extra butter on the side. Maybe they have changed the cook or so, but it is not the same taste and quality as before. 6 months ago, when I gave 5 stars: My regular place to go. Delicious food, coffee. Amazing staff. I love this place. The fig toast and baked egg is a must try
I've loved this place for years for great food and pastries, and I'm valued with it. But I haven't done much for months. It was my goal for my Mocha and her was my favorite in the city... why I am really sad that she now has Ghirardelli chocolate syrup like some tourists using Fischerman's Harf cafe, which has only skimmed milk and stocks of Sprite in the register: lol petition to bring real chocolate back to the Mochas ... come to Jane! Everything else is as good as you can contaminate Equator with the super processed, flat-tasting sugar syrup?! Not the result I expect from homemade goose.
This is a solid spot for a casual breakfast or brunch. I visited around 11am on a Saturday, when this place was somewhat busy but was still able to easily find an empty table without any wait. I ordered a cappuccino and savory onion scone at the counter and then found a seat on the second floor while waiting for the barista to call out my drink order. The cappuccino was decent but nothing memorable. But the star of the show was the savory scone, which was flavorful, not dry or overly crumbly at all, and fairy large in size! My friend also enjoyed his banana bread and raves about the cinnamon roll here. One thing to note is that this Fillmore location has a nice ambiance and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Meanwhile, the Geary location is only a grab and go spot but offers a greater selection (and higher quality) of baked goods.
