Hakkasan San Francisco

A very hip room with a large bar area. Our server was very attentive and helpful to help us decide between several courts. The dimming sum is an absolute must and I think they're the best I've ever had. Both dishes we had after the dimming sum: Snappers and shrimps were great. Shrimps were very large and well cooked. The mushrooms in the Snapper were beautiful, many different varieties - so good!

I have always loved this place, but I save it for special occasions. I have been numerous times but my favorite was when I went after my graduation. My parents were visiting from out of the country and I wanted to go to one of my favorite restaurants in the city. We made a reservation and so the table was ready as soon as we got there. The hostess was delightful and escorted us to our table. The ambiance of the restaurant is great you have two semi-enclosed seating areas and a bar in the middle of the room. We sat towards the right but both seating areas looked fine. We promptly ordered our food and it came out in no time. My favorite dishes here are the vegetable dumpling platter and the mushroom noodles. I may or may not dream about them sometime :P but that was not all we ordered we ordered a lot of food mainly because the helpings are quite small. for dessert, I love their macarons I would recommend this place for sure.

Delicious! The service was wonderful and the food was good. I feel that Hakkasan is a place that's more centered around the experience, and less about the food itself. The restaurant is exquisitely decorated, and the large full bar in the center is beautiful to look at. There's certainly a few dishes that will knock your socks off! The star of the show, in my opinion, was saved for last with the black sesame seed and chocolate dumplings. If you visit, you absolutely must try one of their desserts! We got the pork belly clay pot and sea bass for lunch. Both were good, but only get the pork belly if your don't mind fatty meat! It was a very nice experience and we'll definitely visit again!

Good place to have Chinese style food with friends. Perfect seafood meals here. Service is great but everything takes longer than expected. Usually need to spend 2 hours here. There is a SF mandatory fee around $10. Table can be reserved online.

Food was delicious and service was great, but definitely over-priced. Maybe spend less on fancy napkins in the bathroom and all the employees walking around constantly refilling water to help lower the cost? Happy we went, buy going to be hard to justify spending that much on a dinner again for a long time!
