Restaurant bewertenLove this place for pupusas. My kid loves the rice beans and making hats out of the Salvadorian newspapers. I'm confused by all the reviews talking about rude service. I've been here like a double-digit number of times, and that's never happened to me. On the contrary, one time I actually forgot to pay, and they were really nice about it. Plus they always put up with my kid's mess and the fact that 3 or 4 of their free newspapers have turned into hats.
8/10 tasty and to the point pupusas. I got 3 for $10.50 and chose two revuelta (beans, cheese and pig) and a loroco y queso (cheese and an Salvadorean veggie.) the cheese was great, they lubricated fresh and were not fat. the service was good and the restaurant was clean. it helps to speak a little Spanish.
I enjoy dining at this restaurant because of their generous portion sizes and a variety of delicious dishes that are cheesy, savory, and spicy. Just be prepared to eat a lot. However, the cleanliness for dining in may not always be the best.
The pupusas at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, especially when paired with their tangy curtido. My favorite was the zucchini and cheese filling! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
Excellent papusa, and the service was great. I recommend to stop here when the line next door is too long. eating was in 15 min, no line, and the prices are incredibly low. $15 for 4 papusas is a steal and fed 2 people without problems. the cheese is so good.
