Restaurant bewertenWow, this was actually amazing and I’m a tough critic! We got the Party of 4 meal with coleslaw, mac and cheese fries for sides. It was a bit pricey, but very worth the cost. Brisket was prime, pulled pork was great and even the chicken was juicy and flavorful. Mac and cheese was really good especially with the bread crumb topper, and the cole slaw even deserves a shout out. Only item that wasn’t superb was the fries, but as a to-go order it’s almost to be expected that they wouldn’t be perfectly crispy. Upon pickup the bartender had my order right away, was very casual and friendly, and loaded us up with extra sauce without nickel and dime’ing per container like most places. All around great dinner for my moms birthday, thank you!
I have had BBq from all over the country (30+ states and I believe this was the best BBQ I've ever had. We were lucky to come here on Father's day, where they were having outside activities but also had Tri Tip on the menu. It was absolutely top tier.Everything else I tried was spectacular as well, Chicken, Hot Links (with cheese? Yum! , Pulled Pork, amazing baked beans and street corn were all so good! Then to top everything off both the bread pudding and banana pudding ended the meal wonderfully. Will definitely be back, but super bummed that tri-tips aren't on the main menu. It's the first place I've ever planned on signing up for a newsletter.
So if you've been to Del's Hideout its the same food but the menu seems smaller here. Went on a Friday around 330pm and the place was practically empty which was fine. We got our food really quick but it was warm at best. We ordered the meal for 2 and it seemed small for 2 people. Yes we are big eaters but it was small anyway. You just know. I ordered dessert and they were out of what I had asked for. Bummer. The server was really attentive. I'd rather go to Dels. I've had a better experience there. This is a Cohen family restaurant and the waitress confirmed its the same recipes as Dels hideout. I didnt know that but as soon as I walked in I asked cause it looked like it was.
I met some old friends for dinner and to catch up! They love coming here so much and seems to be the go-to place when we get together. We opted for the party of 4 since there were 4 of us. The hardest part is always deciding which sides to get. With this meal, you get the choice of 3 sides. One of my friends chose bacon potato salad, while the other chose the Mac and cheese. For the last side, we asked our server to help us out! We asked her if the street corn or the baked beans were better and she said she loves the corn. She was so right! I always love the street corn and mac and cheese but was in love with the bacon potato salad this time!
