Restaurant bewertenWe came here for a night dinner after several wonderful reviews. I had very high expectations and the restaurant lived up to its hype. We were a party of four and ordered a dosa each- a ghee masala dosa, mysore masala dosa , Andhra spicy masala dosa and a jump dosa. We also had two plates idli vada and two coffees to share among us four. The Vada was the best I had in the USA and all the Dosas were amazing. It was a bummer that they had no lava cans and Uttapams. The Idlis were okay, could have been softer and warmer. The filter coffee was tasteful and the temperature of the coffee was also perfect. All the accompaniments were fantastic. Would like to be here again on the first occasion.
Amazing south Indian food. We had been here for lunch. We got a south Indian thali (spicy), idli vada combo, filter coffee and gulaab jamun. The thali was good, all varieties were delicious, so was the idli vada combo. Filter coffee was very strong and refreshing. Friendly service.
Recently we visited San Idli San Diego. I must say it?s a must visit place for all South Indian food lovers. Absolutely loved everything we tried here. We started with Filter coffee which was mind blowing. Below are a few other items we ordered: Rava masala dosa Andhra spicy masala dosa Veg uttapam Gobi Manchurian Idli Vada combo Onion paratha Overall experience was amazing. Must visit. The best Vegetarian outlet in San Diego.
The best of the best. I love South Indian Cuisine and was craving one so badly here is San Diego. This was so far the best I have had in the USA. They use true Ingredients and make authentic dishes. The host was very warm and friendly. The prices are nominal. I wish we visited on a weekend as they have a exclusive platter for weekends. But what we had was definitely delectable. We had our brunch today, and are planning to visit the same place again tomorrow. The Andhra Spicy Dosa, Idli Sambhar and coconut chutney were unmatchable. Can?t wait to visit them again soon!
Went here for breakfast on the weekend, from UCSD, and it was really a very easy drive. The restaurant is in a large warehouse like space and feels roomy. You order and pay at the counter, find a table. The food is brought out to your table, which is much better than some other restaurants where they call out and you have to go and pick it up at the counter. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed our meal. The sambar and chutneys were good and freely refilled on request. Everything felt very freshly made. The restaurant opens at 9am for breakfast. At 11am, in addition to the breakfast items, they begin to serve lunch. Overall, highly recommended and this is definitely my go to place when in San Diego.
