Panera Bread - San Diego

This is a review of Panera Bread. The food is consistently good no matter which location you visit. I ordered the Green Goddess salad and a cup of autumn squash soup, both of which were delicious. Although I received a slightly overripe apple, the staff quickly and kindly replaced it. My meal was ready within 5 minutes of placing my order. Overall, it was a great experience and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of many hotels.

This restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of the Westgate hotel. We decided to try it for the first time as we didn't feel like driving anywhere. We ordered the Cobb salad, which was just okay. The arugula was too strong for our liking and we felt it needed more dressing. The side of plain bread wasn't our favorite, but my husband enjoyed it. The Caesar salad was decent, but I've had better elsewhere. The portion sizes of the salads were good. The cheese flatbread was good, but not great. The dough was light. We may come back to try their sandwiches, but we're not in a rush to do so.

This restaurant and its staff are incredibly generous. They often give away free drinks for a month. Yesterday I received a complimentary drink, and today I was gifted a free cookie. I recommend downloading their app and take advantage of these offerings! The service is excellent with a 5-star rating. Perfect 10/10!

The manager was so rude when I asked about the bathroom door code. I asked about the code he said it?s on the receipt. I told him that I don?t have a receipt because I ordered using a kiosk. He said I have to wait until my order is ready and get areceipt with my order and the code is on the receipt. He could simply give me the code but he didn?t! Later on I asked a cashierand he respectfully gave me the code. The one star is only for the manager. I wish someone from the corporate reads thesereviews. Note: when I received my order there was no code on it.

I ordered online on 3/24/2020 during the quarantine and i always get the same order, ten vegetable soup with the bread bowl. usually the soup is red, but the one i received was dark brown and it had a weird taste. it looks like mushy dark vegetables andit grossed me out. i usually live panera but it seems like they gave up trying because of everything going on. : compare thedifference
