La Tradicion - Tortas de la Abuela

Randomly came acorss this place while taking photographs around the San Cristobal. I was in a rush to get back to photos, and was looking for something quick and portable. I was pleasently surprised at how tasty the tortas were. I say tortas (plural , becasue I came back twice more during my stay in San Cristobal. : The Yucateca was my favorite, but the Carmelita and the Campechana were both great. Definitly worth the stop if you are in the area.

The sandwiches are sooooo good! I can 't believe this place doesn 't have more reviews since it is so yummy. I was starving and randomly walked in and had such an unexpected treat. I got the Coleta which is a vegetarian torta (sandwich) with black beans and cheese and it was so good that I still crave it. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in San Cristobal.

Me encantaron las tortas. Probé una con carnitas (¡no recuerdo su nombre ja!) y la disfruté con una malteada de fresa que a mi hija le encantó. ¡Además, el servicio fue excelente!

Me encontré con este lugar al azar mientras tomaba fotos alrededor de San Cristóbal. Estaba apurado para volver a mis fotos y buscaba algo rápido y portátil. Me sorprendí gratamente de lo sabrosas que estaban las tortas. Digo tortas (en plural) porque regresé dos veces más durante mi estancia en San Cristóbal. :-) La Yucateca fue mi favorita, pero la Carmelita y la Campechana también estaban geniales. Definitivamente vale la pena hacer una parada si estás en la zona.
