Restaurant bewertenLovely decor and great live music. Prices were very reasonable but what let the experience down was the badly cooked pasta. Just how wrong can you go with such simple food? I ordered the pasta with chicken which was so dry it needed a sauce. I ended up putting the salsa on it so it was palatable…
Definitely one of the best places I’ve eaten in my time in Mexico, I’ve eaten here twice in the past two days, I had lunch yesterday (a ham and cheese pitta with French fries) and tonight I had dinner (a delicious pasta bowl) the staff are great and the service is incredibly quick given the quality of the food too!
Excellent. This was our first time trying the restaurant as it is just off one of the main walking streets and we aren’t usually looking for it. We went in the middle of the afternoon and the restaurant was busy. Being our first time, we tried an appetizer Chonis (chicken in a Thai sweet chili sauce wrapped in a tortilla) and two toasted sandwiches on pita bread (one was Oaxaca chorizo and the other arrachera). All of it had great flavor. We will definitely return and try more of their menu.
We were in San Cristobal and wanted to try something a bit different (not Mexican) and close to our hotel. We were three couples and ordered different dishes. I had one with rice and chicken. All dishes were tasteless and mushy. Think the cheapest Chinese restaurant in a US city. Meantime a band started playing (with amplifiers in a small space) that completely ended conversation. It was inexpensive, which is why I gave it a 2 and not a 1. Recommended only for those on a very tight budget and already deaf.
The service is really really good. Also their food is amazing. I had the red Thai curry and I must say it really tasted like the ones in Thailand. I would definitely recommand going to Cocoliche if you want something else than just Mexican food.
