Hostel Tierra Gaucha 1

Perfectly located, right across the street from the lake and around the corner of the best chocolate shops This is a hostel, quite nice, however the property has limited parking space, on a first come first serve basis, otherwise you must pay for street parking. The hostel is on the first floor, no elevator. The rooms are OK, need lots of maintenance. Very basic commodities, offers free breakfast and Wi-fi. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean but they need lots of cosmetic work.

Very, O mean very outdated. Keep in mind all five floors have very strap steps and no elevator so good luck carrying your stuff up the stairs. No one speaks English, O was horrified I am going to get bed bugs from very old beddings and all crooked beds. Also, don't order taxi from them they call you a taxi for twice the cost of a car you can stop on the street!

The location was really good, and the service was ok. The biggest problem was that the rooms were dusty and the sheets weren't cleaned properly and with someone else's hair

Firstly they basically inveted their own conversion rate from USD to ARS, then they gave us a triple room (three bunkbeds) instead of a double bed. This wouldn't have been a problem, but the bunkbeds were 80cm wide, so smaller than an average single bed! The breakfast as well was less than average and the kitchen was badly equipped and couldn't be used, because the hostel staff was cooking in it all day. They also don't recycle.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly. The location is great. The room has a hairdryer and a safe. And the breakfast is nice. The main cons was that the room was a bit too tight to go between the beds, and the internet was not working. Hopefully it will be fixed by the time you get there.
