Las Brasas - San Carlos de Bariloche

Our experience at this restaurant was so poor it has led us to write our first Trip Advisor review.From working in hospitality and extensive travels, we generally have an open mind about our experiences and are not easily annoyed to the point of complaining.Our experience was as follows;We were pleasantly welcomed to the restaurant, which had a nice homely feel to it, and were promptly attended to. We cannot necessarily fault the service of the wait staff, however our meal is another story.If we had one expectation/conception about Argentinian food was that it champions meat! This clearly didn't happen tonight.Our order of the 'BBQ for two' was a complete disappointment. The cuts of meat were poor (at best), over cooked, and mostly inedible. We could barely eat a third of it. Unfortunately, there was no concern for the amount of food that was left (untouched) from the staff.Unless you like small dry pieces meat with plenty of fat grizzle and bones, and oily off cuts avoid this restaurant.Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't do Argentinian cuisine any favours.

If your starving probably not the best of option as the Service was slow and workers didn't look happy. Food was OK nothing great - the pork brisket was extremely fatty. The pastas were average - we had the gnocchi with tomato sauce this was ok but the spinach ravioli with the pesto was flavourless. We also had a chorizo sausage which was cheap and tasty and a mixed salad. If your on a budget there's not to many cheap options that we have found around so this could suit you but otherwise there's plenty of tasty other options we have had that are great with service!

The food is really nice but a litle bit slow.. I would recomend it if you are with some sare time and not very hungry

Myself and friends stumbled upon this restaurant as the one we wanted originally was closed. We were not disappointed at all by the outcome. The staff were great and the cuts of meat were of good size and cooked to order. Its one of the smaller, lesser known in a sea of steak houses in Bariloche and i totally recommend having a meal here.

A great place to eat very good food! Menu del dia or whatever, it is excellent!
