Sazon Mexican Cafe - San Antonio

We are very picky with Menudo Barbacoa.. we decided to try this place and we left very satisfied! The food was fresh and amazing... Tortillas were very soft and the coffee was very good! Only downside, sweet tea tasted very sweet and watery... but that can be fixed.. will recommend this place to family friends! Also, our waitress was great!! Thank you!

Best food and service. I’ve gone there three times on several different years and it never disappoints. Food is amazing served in big portions and my waiter would go over and beyond to make sure we were attended to. Being pregnant you tend to be picky and he did all my requests with a smile on his face. We where there on Sunday during the busiest time which was 1-2 I believe and I have no complaints whatsoever. It’s been awhile since I’ve been attended to this well and satisfied with the food since I’ve been pregnant bc of the taste buds and hormones but I was completely impressed here how I couldn’t complain about a thing. Left me speechless once again and I feel bad for my husband as I will be asking him to take me more often here. Lol he won’t complain though bc he was happy with the food and service too. Thank you once again for the amazing food and amazing service!

The BEST! And believe me I 've had traditional Mexican food, from Nuevo Laredo, Monterey to San Luis Potosí to Agua Calients to Mexico City to fresh seafood from the Pacific Ocean of Acapulco. And the cooks were my Tias, who followed their mothers mothers recipes. But the best way to see if a 'Mexican Restaurant ' is good is to taste the rice first...if the rice is good then the food is good. That 's the first thing I did when I first went to Sazón. And the rice was awesome. If it 's the first time there order the Cilantro enchiladas with cup of Torrilla soup. You can thank me later.

My son Jason found this place and I visit every trip to SA. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but not a bad meal so far. Bucket list my friends!

I had the chori-quilles and the plate was delicious. Just the right amount of food for the price and the coffee was great tasting too. My only regret is...I didn't visit this place sooner!
