Restaurant bewertenThank you Jules for your excellent service and thank Kirby's for the amazing food, ambience and blessings you gave us for our wedding anniversary. As always, we can never go wrong with Kirby's Steakhouse for any occasion or just eat.
Another Bougie place in my list beaten. Service was pleasant and they always checked for us to make sure we were okay. Lighting was pretty dim. A comment, no complaint. As far as the food, I had a fillet mignon in a 7 oz medium and it was naturally delicious with a beautiful sea red outside. The cocktail shrimps and grilled shrimps were delicious and a good size. I also had a soup of the day that was basically chicken soup, but the broth was quite delicious. I would recommend it.
3.5 stars. My mother's birthday came here. The service and the ambience were great. The food wasn't as good as my previous visit. The French onion soup was extremely salty and my mother could only stand a few bites. We ordered the steak and cake for them. She really enjoyed it. I had the rib and ordered pages to share. The Mac and the cheese that was delicious. Then the roasted Brussels sprouts that had to cook a little longer because they were not tender. I know if I had brought this to the waiter, they would have corrected the problem, but I was simply not in the mood to conduct this conversation. For this price, I think I don't have to say anything. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, only not the best it could have been.
I tried this place because it was on the list for restaurant weeks and I have to tell my friend, still I was very impressed by this place until the food goes. We were very excited because we really wanted to try this place. The ambience and the surroundings of the restaurant are beautiful. Let's start with our drinks and appetizers. Our drinks were just ok, nothing unforgettable. My friend had the buffalo shrimp as their first course and the shrimp was good, but the claw underneath had absolutely no taste. We then had the fried potatoes and what can I say about it was very crispy and I think way to enjoy crispy and something made it very salty. Not sure it was the cheese or not. Now on our meals. I had the black salmon and unfortunately it was tasteless, no season at all. I appreciate it being well done and damp. The Orzo should be a kind of taste of citrus and there was none. My friend had the filet mignon the 7oz and it was much smaller than she thought it was and it was also really **** when she asked to be mediocre. She said the potatoes were very salty. So she didn't cost her food. After all, we had dessert. She had the lemon melts and presentation was good, but the taste was definitely missing. I had climbed the cinnamon of Peach and it was nothing like what I could imagine. The dough tasted as if it was not cooked completely and it seemed that it needed more taste for filling like cinnamon. Overall, we would not go back to this place and would not recommend it because the lack of taste to the food. The service was really good, but that's the point.
Date night at Kirby's Steak House with my husband was my first time ever trying duck. I had a Hemingway with a dash of strawberry and later a paloma. We tried the fried Brussels sprouts, lobster bisque, and crab cake which we're all to die for. And finished it off with a chocolate turtle cheesecake. Everything was rich, delicious and extremely worth the price. Definitely recommend.
