Asador La Vaca Argentina - Saltillo

The best meat in Saltillo... definitely: I visited this place many times... delicious meat, gorgeous grilled cheese: and wine, local brilliant wine! Taste of north Mexico:

My family and I have come to this restaurant every three months or so for the last two years. I must say that the environment and the infrastructure of the place is really, really good. It is always nice to go with friends to have good conversations and order some cheese and meat accompanied with some good wine. The last three visits have been really different, it has gone from very good to terrible. The place is not cheap since all the prices are in the high end so there is no need to reduce quality in the products. A place like this should make “limonada” (lemonade) from real limes since the price is there but they did it the “Chili’s” fashion!!! I understand that I had to pay for it since I did not ask if it was made from concentrate… I gave the place too much credit and assumed wrong. I totally understand that asking for a ribeye requires some fat in the cut but this time the four different orders were stringy, unchewable, and half of the order was fat. These were not prime for sure, but we did definitely pay for prime. We had good wine and we order pasta alfredo which turned down to be a disaster, terrible, not eatable. The chef that made the pasta really had no, really NO idea. Maybe the place is now too demanded, too full and now they cheapened it out to make things faster but it is sacrificing quality bit time.

Very nice place. I’ve been in Mexico for 26 years. This is the best steak place in Saltillo. The ribeye was excellent. Service was fast for lunch on Saturday.

Es la tercera ocasión que visitó el lugar, como en las dos visitas anteriores la comida magnífica! El pulpo a las brazas y los cortes muy buenos, pero esta vez fue muy incómodo tratar de comer y por otro lado espantando moscas!No sé si había algún desperfecto con el aire acondicionado pero fue muy molesto la cantidad de moscas que había en él área de las mesas.Muy bien los alimentos, bien la atención, pero las moscas fue desagradable, ojalá lo tomen en cuenta.

Cuando esten de visita en saltillo no pueden perderse el conocer este lugar tiene un ambiente muy acojedor, sus cortes de lo mejor y el servicio ni se diga!!! ademas de que tienen una buena lista de vinos !!! este lugar es 100% recomendable !!
