J. Wong's Asian Bistro - Salt Lake City

Beautiful, authentic and formal environment! Delicious food at reasonable prices! The Thai soups and foods were the best by far! Especially the pad Thai, panang curry, and Thom Gai soup. It felt very clean and modern. They even had robot servers that passed by frequently bringing out orders! Good customer service! Only thing is the parking was a challenge on a weekend Night, and it would be VERY helpful if they had pictures on the menu *If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up. ? thanks!

Delicious food! quality was high and there was attention to detail, something that is always admirable in Thai food and service. definitiw recommend the pad thai the freshly comminuted eddies, lime and green tweebel was authentic thai, and medium seasoned was just enough to increase the temperature but not to burn. Personally I could treat more destined and would order spicier the next time (responds if you are used to eat spicy.) the proportions were generous and appropriate for the order. I wish I had a place to try more of her. atmosphere: felt dimensional, but warm, balanced with a feeling of modern, which made it welcoming and relaxing. the service was attentive and friendly by all members on the staff, with only enough table touched and beautiful attention to details.

Delicious food. I ordered the thai basilikum with huh, and it was so delicious. the medium seasoning level was simply enough kick to be delicious, but not overwhelmingly hot. it reminded me so much of my favorite dish from my favorite Thai restaurant back home! the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant despite the barely parking.

Update: after the restaurant was very gracious and helping me solve what happened our first time, my friend and I were back twice! we were as early as possible. we were immediately greeted and sat and eating was amazing! I am surprised that it is no longer busy at the weekends because it is fantastic eating. I also wanted to come back because I was impressed how the owner treated the situation. he really cares about his work and always does not seem to stop working. old review: eating was okay. but I was really angry at customer service. because of our circumstances, we were only able to close later in the night on Saturday, half an hour before what is a little rude on our side, we should have done better to check, but it is still only 8:30 on a Saturday night. we went in and said they were closed in half an hour and that was it. then someone else came and said, "They can order, I guess" to help them because we came so late, we ordered ourselves, then they just ignored us. they seemed so upset to help us what I understand, it's the weekend, they probably had a long layer and want to go, but they still have half an hour to close, they can't be willing to help us for another half an hour? it was so inconspicuous that I don't want to come back alone.

I've been shopping here for years and finally went to the restaurant. this place is a solid choice for Chinese/thai-American food. but I am really excited for the end of the pandemic so that they can bring back their separate Chinese and Thai authentic menus. the peking duck was sooo good.
