Capo Gelateria - Salt Lake City

I have celiac disease so I can’t eat gluten or I will get very sick. The man at the counter was very rude and refused to tell me how their ice cream was made/what it was made from. He was extremely unhelpful and I did not buy anything. Don’t come here if you have any allergies or follow a particular diet. They will not accommodate.

We were in downtown SLC on. Sunday afternoon in the middle of a rainstorm. Too early for a beer and few shops open. This gem of a gelato place is a delight under any circumstances, but we were especially happy to find it today. We had panna cotta and mixed berry; just the right combo of sweet and tart. Comfortable chairs, great service, free ice water. The medium was only $5! Next time. We will try the pizza next door.

Great tasting Gelato and many options to choose from. There is limited space to sit inside (but free lemon water). The Pizza place next door is connected. Prices are OK, a large will cost you around $6 (and you want large of course). They will mix up to two flavors in a large (I think they should mix at least 3)

Stopped in on a whim and it turned out to be a great idea. Only mistake I made was not getting a large (was trying to exercise self control)! A nice variety of flavors to choose from but I ended up going with the Panna Cotta (Vanilla, Caramel and Toffee Chunks). Glad I did as it was amazing! Highly recommended!
