Jade Buffet of China - Salmon Arm

We were driving through town and spotted this restaurant on Hwy 1. My husband and I love Chinese food, so we took a chance...and we are glad we did. We both enjoyed the lunch buffet. It wasn't the best Chinese buffet that we have been to - but it was still good and great value. Definitely the BEST deep fried prawns that we have ever tasted!On a side note - their bathrooms are beautiful. Nicely done! I know...they have nothing to do with the food - but I appreciate a clean, modern bathroom.Service was good and I would recommend Jade Buffet of China.

Was there for Mothers day dinner, the place was packed. The food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. They have added to the buffet as well. A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff rounded out the evening.

I have been to the Jade a couple of times and have always been disappointed. But because they have undergone new renovation we thought we would try again. Yes they put out lots of food. Yes a lot of people go there. Yes the girls serving are lovely and very pleasant. But the food remains to be Ho-Hum.The meat dishes I found to dried out and tasteless, All of the food I had was lacking in goodness. It did not appear or taste to be fresh although I read that others thought it so. After eating that evening

All the food in the buffet taste the same,the restaurant has been remodelled since I've last been there. The people that work there have always been kind and courteous just not crazy about the food even though there are a lot of options. I hope the renovations brought a better quality of food.

We have been going here for years. The food is fresh and delicious and well stocked. The restaurant is always clean and the staff super nice!
