Restaurant bewertenWe didn't go to the restaurant but had a tour. The tour was great and the volunteers were so informative, helpful and friendly. The house has been excellently restored and beautiful.
Great staff and big, delicious portions at reasonable prices.
Food: There is a rotating weekly menu, as well as a menu of sandwiches/wraps that are always offered. Yummy complimentary rolls! I had a half sandwich and soup and it was plenty. try the Steinbeck iced tea. Service: This place is volunteer-run (aside from the chef, social media, and bookkeeper) and all of them are LOVELY. Hannah, my server, checked on me frequently was very friendly. We got a great run down of the Steinbeck family and home history by a volunteer KK during our lunch. Another volunteer let me look around a bit and I never felt rushed even when more customers were coming in. They are doing a wonderful job of running this restaurant and preserving the building/local history.
This is the third shower I have hosted in addition to many celebrations and luncheons for many years. The Steinbeck House is special to my heart The perfect setting for our Bridgerton Diamond of the Season baby shower tea
Had such a great lunch here! The staff was so nice and informative and the gift shop had rare gems!
