101 Wine Press - Salinas

My husband and I came here on Friday night for the ribs. There was some fun live music playing. It took us several minutes to get seated, that is, it was unclear if we should seat ourselves. A wait person finally came around and we were directed to sit wherever we wanted.More waiting, at least 15 min, until they came to take our drink order. We new what we wanted already so we put in the order and they did not have the ribs. We needed more time to make a selection. This was another 15 min waiting game for them to come back.Simple order tri tip and chicken. Waited more. Almost had to go to Subway next door while we waited for the foodIt was dry and raw at the same time. The tri tip was just nothing to tight home about.This place is really here for the beer and music. I wouldn’t come here for the food.

Great place, food was excellent. I had a 1/4 chicken with Mac and cheese. Beers are good, nice selection of local draft beers. Wine list is decent. Service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive. Would highly recommend!

A very nice place with great food! Their sandwiches are out of this world and addictive! It's a comfortable atmosphere with lots of choices in food and drink. Try it you'll like it?!

Worst place to eat at we had reservations waited hour fifteen min only 1 plate came for 7 people waitress kept coming to table saying they ran out of food then would come back and say they ran out of more food everyone else that was there after us got their order...the owner kevin came to our table tells the waitress what do you want me to do.. looks at us like he didn't care, didn't try to even apologize, turns walks away, and goes back into the kitchen to never be seen again....save yourself the frustration and don't go there it's terrible place...
