Restaurant bewertenEasy to find in Saligniac and very friendly efficient staff. Clearly very popular with locals and visitors alike so book a table. We chose the set menu for the day and house red. All delicious: soup, miniature saucisson quiche (they ran out of tomato and tuna salad but this was a very tasty alternative), chicken potatoes. Highly recommend.
Recommended by local resident. Didn’t disappoint. Lovely home made soup starter followed by tasty omelette. My wife chose the foie gras salad starter and it was the nicest she’d eaten in the Sarlat region. .An unpretentious eatery tucked away off the main thoroughfare. Well worth a visit if in the vicinity
Came across this tucked away in Salignac while looking for somewhere to eat before heading back to the airport. What a pleasant surprise! We both opted for the Confit de Canard, a very common dish in the area but this was by far the best we'd tried. Although no longer hungry, the sight of some of the puddings coming out of the kitchen tempted us to sample a couple and we weren't disappointed. A simple restaurant but lovely food and good service.
We went here on our first evening. I have never had a pasta dish that was so tasteless, dry with no flavour. It was like eating just boiled pasta. My partner had steak which was tough and grisly. The first time I have ever refused to pay for my meal.
We ordered pizza to take away. What a surprise, pizzas arrive ... the boxes were filled with oil, so much so we couldn't eat pizza in ... I quickly understood when I took my first part and it tasted oil (beurk). I always look for the filling (economy ...), the products used are low-end (tasting cheese or too cooked paste too cooked, too salty, rocket fan.) short pay € 13.50 for this ... it's really too expensive paid!!!
