Restaurant bewertenDoesn't look like much but the food is amazing. the breakfast is even better and the staff is super nice
This is a very nice restaurant. The servers are very polite and helpful. The owner will also go by the tables and stop to talk with the patrons. Country atmosphere!! We've been at this restaurant probably fifteen times so far and the meals are great. Kudos for their chicken fricot. A big hearty bowl with lots of chicken. Just like homemade. Scallops are also mouthwatering with a light batter. The prices are very reasonable. Certainly worth a visit!
Out and about in Kent County and stopped for lunch at this little diner. Looks clean, has a modest somewhat-dated decor and air conditioning is working very well. Greeted immediately by smiling waitresses. We seated ourselves. There were several daily specials. Ordered the seafood chowder and shared an order of fried clams. First the clams, the BEST! Lightly battered, cooked crisp to perfection and they melted in your mouth. Yes, hard to believe that clams can melt in your mouth as most restaurants overcook them and result in tough chewy clams. The tartar sauce was in the usual little plastic packets. The seafood chowder was an overflowing bowl of diced potatoes with a reasonable amount of lobster, clams and scallops. The broth was delicious and not too creamy or thick. It was a good chowder, however it's the fried clams that will bring me back.
