Restaurant bewertenOn Sunday afternoon he visited the place on the Christmas market. I have a completely dried pancake that drowns in mokka sauce. in addition, close to the bar sitting, the staff constantly overheared critique to their customers. probably one of the least interesting places in this otherwise very welcome city.
We have beaten in le zinc for lunch and were so impressed by the nice friendly staff we came back to our dinner in the evening and was not disappointed. that was nice and when I said how dlicious were one of my three desserts, an extra was given. that's what I call to go the extra mile! the personal is good for every business and that proves it.
Stop for a coffee, sit outside and watch the world go by. Decent service, lovely coffee and immaculate loos. The most memorable thing though is that the hand drier in the bathroom is part of the tap and comes as quite a shock!
We were staying in Saint Omer on way to Calais ferry. We had a meal here and it was very nice. We didn' t have starters. I had Spaghetti Carbonara which was good but the portion size too big so my husband ate half and...he liked it. The staff were very friendly. It is in a central position in the square overlooking the townhall.
A good welcome, meal served generously, very good meats, the perfect match for an improvised meal one week evening, very good value for money
