Delicious fish and jerk chicken tacos. Hooked. Need to go back for more.
I waited 30 minutes for a single sandwich, which felt like too long and wasn’t worth it. The order process for preparing food seemed disorganized. Typically, it’s first come, first served, but this food truck used a random method that left some customers waiting while others received their orders right away.
Make sure to try the bacon brownie—two for five dollars. You won't regret it!
I visited Feastro a few times at the West End Farmers Market, and my first experience was fantastic—I had a delicious fried egg breakfast sandwich. However, I returned yesterday with my boyfriend, excited to order the same sandwich, but it was a huge disappointment. The sandwich we received was nothing like the one I had before. They promote it as being served on a ciabatta bun with Havarti cheese, but instead, we got a cold, cheap, dry bun (not ciabatta) and processed orange cheese. I brought this to their attention, but they didn’t offer any explanation for the poor quality of the sandwich. They did remake it with the correct bun, but it still had the fake cheese. Additionally, they claim to use Kennebec fries, but the fries we received were distinctly different. When I saw them making my order, I noticed they were using frozen fries! This food truck markets itself as offering high-quality organic ingredients, but what I received was more akin to McDonald's fare. It was definitely not worth the price, and it felt like false advertising.
