Restaurant bewertenAll starts with our arrival : 5 well motivated friends for a good quiet food, result -:mojito imbuvable - we are still in a region where cognac is prominent but unfortunately the one that has been served should not come from the vineyards of the terroir ...-Serveur in the juice-1h30 to see the shadow of an entry - medium-speed served hot-All of a coup good ratio...-Let's not be too pessimistic, after multiple remarks, the dijo was still offered to us. a hot vs but we will say that it is the intention that counts...----In summary: at the limit of reasonableness.
Waiting interminable....we had booked for 9pm, the entrance arrived at 10:30pm after claiming it, while the room was far from being filled (we were 9 and there were in all about 20 covers in the room). Spots of times fat with a partially cooked paste. a cold sweet potato purée, and dishes served in cold plates. a celery risotto rave without rice, it was celery cubes. a fatty, slaughtered liver that looks like boiling. a dish that arrives well after the other 8 because "the cook forgot the magret and made it burn"(tenit the server). And what about the cake that was supposed to be a birthday cake with red fruit or 3 chocolates. at the end a simple chocolate cake of the kind of one can make on Sunday at home, without the inscriptions requested on it. cake served with a liquid English cream like water, and powdered cocoa thrown in large packs in the plate. We had good returns and hoped for a proper meal to celebrate my 40th birthday, what disappointment! caution those who would like to choose them for a wedding meal! There is potential, a nice setting, ally dishes, a priori quality products but the result is far from being up to our expectations!
Come on a couple, then group of 18 people, and aperiod dinner on Saturday between friends, nothing to say for the different episodes, otherwise it is a place to advise. Well-made dishes based on quality products, nice servers, an ideal setting for relaxation.Special tapas board for the aperitif, for 16 euros, it far exceeds the level of what can be found on the edge of tanker in Cognac.A recommendation, but think to book!
Good first visit a few months ago; mitigated this time, a menu not badly the other way....But very good service!
Served in a terrace in the shade but the canvases stifle a bit because the wind no longer circulates...The two menus and the map allow a good choice the service is correct. The plates are sufficient and well prepared. I found little cognac taste to my Norwegian omelette which was also a little "compact"...The frame (old winery) is superb with the green as a decor.
