Restaurant bewertenThe food was excellent in a freezing environment; paying $100 for 2 for lunch is not cheap but the worst part is that we had to eat with our coats on because it was so cold, even in the restroom.
I was a bit disappointed by the limited brunch menu on weekends. The cost was high compared to the portion size.
The service was terrible. She was not attentive to us. She was only looking to make us spend money.
This charming, well-furnished small café is a lovely spot with a great staff who clearly enjoy their work. The café also has a beautiful terrace at the front where they grow their own herbs and vegetables. Parking is free and easily accessible. While the menu is limited, it offers interesting choices that encourage customers to return and try something new each time. They also offer online ordering for their delicious cakes. Connected to the café is a boutique selling the Ricardo product line, adding a unique touch to the overall concept.
Caffe Ricardo has been open in St. Lambert for over a year and has brought new life to the dining scene on the south shore of Montreal. Chef Ricardo Larrivée is a well-known figure in the foodie community, with TV shows, cookbooks, and a magazine to his name. During our first brunch visit on 23.07.17, our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. I ordered the breakfast pulled pork panini and my friend ordered the blood sausage croquettes - both dishes were excellent, with delightful flavors in the accompanying salads. We topped off our meal with a generous slice of Genovese strawberry cake, which we were able to share due to its size. The service was attentive and we appreciated the extra coffee brought to us without feeling rushed. Overall, a fantastic experience that we will definitely be returning for.
