Restaurant bewertenThis restaurant is a gem located on the mountainside, providing stunning views. The food was exceptional, and our waitress displayed remarkable dedication. I would give the food, service, and ambiance a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
The steak was really disappointing. The atmosphere felt like a dated mobile home from 1992. The mashed potatoes were decent, I guess. For the dining experience, I’d rate the food a 1, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 1. I spent around $30–50 per person for dinner.
The service we received from Haley was horrible. She took our order at a reasonable time and brought us our drinks, then disappeared for an hour! Some 20 minutes after we have been sitting with empty glasses she came by and said the kitchen is backed up by a large group that put their order in before us. I am not sure why that prevented her from refilling our drinks though! They finally brought out our prime rib and I asked about the side salad that came with it. Haley said she knew she forgot something, so she went to put in our side salad orders. We waited 20 more minutes to get the side salad, which was nothing to write home about. It was just a hand-full of lettuce, I don’t know why it took 20 extra minutes to get it. When we received the check, it showed beans and toast should have come with our meal. I let Haley know that we never received the beans and toast. She brushed me off saying that is how it gets rung up. I had to reiterate that we did not receive these items with our meal. So she boxed them up for me to take home as we were already finished. In summary, this was the worst experience I have had in a long time, 1. Haley not refill our drinks for an hour 2. Side salads were forgotten before entree, we had to remind them that our meals came with a salad 3. Side salads took 20 extra minutes despite being a handful of lettuce 4. I highly recommend this place. If you don’t have a reservation, head to the bar area; if Robin is working, she’ll make sure you’re well taken care of. She also assisted a large family while we were there, and they had a great time, too. I didn’t take any pictures this time, but I plan to during my next visit. Food: 5 | Service: 4 | Atmosphere: 4
We ordered a few ribeye steaks for dinner and were quite pleased with our meal. Both the steaks and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the baked potatoes had a fresh taste, not overboiled. The only issues we encountered were that the Texas Toast was burned and the ranch dressing seemed off—perhaps it was actually Caesar dressing? Regardless, it paired wonderfully with the salad and potato wedges. I’d definitely enjoy those steaks again in a heartbeat!
