Revival At The Sawyer - Sacramento

A very nice roof top bar. A small dance area. Indoor/outdoor accommodation and the hotel pool on deck makes for wonderfully sexy ambiance. A great place for a small party!

2 bartenders working on a Friday night. The place was packed so service was slow. A friend booked a cabana for his bday and we had to wait an hour for a server to check on us. Eventually went to the bar to order our own drinks before we received any service in the cabana.

Great drinks, very classy, chill. Bartenders and servers are all so nice abd attentive to you. I forget what day it was, but they had an awesome drag show that day. Performers were great. Just a cool place to hang out and enjoy yourself and if you want to ho out on the patio, it is poolside. Amazing. You do need an ID to get in. No ifs ands or buts about it, but once in- get ready to relax and enjoy yourself!

Unfortunately this is our second and last time visiting Revival. Even with making a reservation in advance there were a number of unpleasant issues we encountered. From trying to get seated at at table the staff indicated there was 1 option right next to the entrance, even though the restaurant was empty they said the other tables were all reserved but we had a reservation, inattentive server, issues with our food by bringing us dessert that was not what we ordered and even when we expressed our experience with the manager he just walked off and laughed. Needless to say we won?t be trying this place again and while the atmosphere may be nice the way they treat customers, especially those of color is not worth it!

So thankful we left a place named after a financial institution, great staff, felt welcomed, good craft cocktails, and the atmosphere is great, only negative is the food was very bland.... Great pre show spot
