Restaurant bewertenWe had the chicken tacos and korean buffalo wings. They were both very good. Service was speedy, and the downstairs bar area was chill.
The food is unique in American culture. A Koja is the Korean version of the America Hamburger. The bun part is made with deep fried rice. The interior is made with bit sized morsals of either chicken, beef, or pork, depending upon which one you order. They also have the basket. A basket consists of a main course, Kim Chi, and steamed rice. A combo order also includes an order of criss-cut fries and the drink, which is refillable. Then, too, there are a line of fancy fries dishes, too.Personally, I prefer the BBQ Cicken combo. The combos are served on a metal tray. The food is good and the staff is very helpful. They also do either dine in or take out, whichever you prefer.
Customer service was pretty good 8/10. Atmosphere 8/10 (outside seatings) nice bright lights golden 1 center view. Food wise 4/10. Different items was order for dinner and the sauce that was used for every dish was the same, kinda disappointing. Fries were way too soft no crunch at all. Teriyaki Zen was the biggest disappointment. They ran out of buns that night and burger buns were fried rice patties. We order 2 Different burger buns and they serve us 2 with the same meat ?. Will reconsider on returning.
Stopped by Koja Kitchen for a late night meal.We ordered the short rib rice bowl combo (upgraded to umami fries for an extra $4). We also added a 5 pc korean buffalo wings. Food was all good and flavors was nice. My only gripe is that all the food was a bit hotter.Street parking only. You can definitely park in a parking garage somewhere. Not the best area in downtown. Next to Golden 1 Center, so just be careful of your surroundings.
Honestly, I was heavily disappointed of how much the quality of the food and guest services have gone down from this place. Especially the cashier/server that took our order. She was rude and not approachable!!! The chicken teriyaki tacos was bland and didn’t taste good, as well as the zen koja bun burgers. My wife and I had stomach irregularities after we left and we felt the food we ordered wasn’t fully cooked….all in all we had a bad experience!!
