Restaurant bewertenWe hadnt eaten at Churchs in about a year, saw a discount offer on DoorDash, and decided to go for it, as we used to really like their chicken. We enjoyed the meal, and everything arrived hot, and tasted fresh. The 8 Piece Chicken meals legs and thighs were meaty and juicy, and the mashed potatoes and gravy delicious, but the real surprise was their new-to-us honey butter biscuits, which are incredible, and are now our favorite fast-food restaurant biscuit, eclipsing even Popeyes biscuits. The only negative was the price for the meal, which really only served 2 hungry adults, and cost nearly $35 with tax, service fee, and a decent tip for the driver, even after the offered $9 offer discount. We would never pay the full $43 total for this meal, which is sad because we would definitely order the meal again, and more often, if it was at a more reasonable total price.
Chicken Sandwich Combo was a fail this time, sandwich wasnt hot at all. It was small, dry, and had no mayo on itat all. The 8 Piece Chicken hit the spot tho. The kids loved it, I loved it. Hot fresh and juicy. At least they got that right. Think the Chicken Sandwich Combo mustve been just a stray chicken sandwich sitting in the warmer too long.
Food was awful. Mac and cheese side was about 1-2 bites worth was burnt. Corn was decent, chicken was iffy. Would never go here again. Only thing good was the soda
Well there was a few things wrong with this order. The chicken meal tasted super oily and the baked Mac that was the side was horrible like it had sat all day. Then the chicken tender meal the tenders were super chewy and no sauce that was requested
First you dont realize your ordering chicken tenders then all the sides were only big enough to feed may 3 people the biscuits were so small it takes 3 bites to eat it and the the Fried Okra was downsized as well for $4.99 there should be more okra the Fried Okra and the Fried Chicken was the only reason I would drive so far but with these small sizes I think Im going to cook at home. thats what I got for $80
