Restaurant bewertenVery disappointing on Sunday lunch the meat was hard and dry, everything was reheated roasted potatoes were dark in color, but soft, others were under-boiled, and all blurred too much (Bisto-Grotte. the pork had no cracks, and there was no bark sauce for the bark, which was well done. it was cold in the restaurant and we were the only diners for most meals, so no atmosphere. the personal was fabulous and scary. we do not recommend it and do not return to the foreseeable future.
Cremetee was amazing. enough for the hungry diners. the skornsevory and sweet were the highlights as well as the pancakes. personal really friendly and attentive. pop over the abbey to go from her lunch
A tee room located over the street from byland abbey is the main advantage of its location. tee and cake were good, but the toilet of men needed a bit of attention. no soap, only hand cream, and the only way to dry the hands was exposed with the two old hand towels above the heat sink.
We have booked here, but canceled when we realized that this was not really an inn. no personal in front of location after breakfast, no bar or dining room. only a caffe really and extremely misrepresented. caveat emptor.
We called in when passing on a wet september after. We had lovely cream tea and cake for a very reasonable price. Our little yorkie was made very welcome too. A lovely place to stop if you are in the area.
