Chicken Salad Chick Of Ruston

Fantastic place to eat. Great service and excellent food.

I usually visit Chicken Salad Chick about once a month. With all the options we have in our town, and as rarely as we eat out, I would usually consider them one of my favorites.But tonight was a complete let down. I ordered the Fancy Nancy on a toasted croissant with lettuce and tomato. I actually choked on my first bite when a whole grape shot down my throat! I had to gag it back up! Not a pleasant way to start a meal. Thank goodness we did the drive through and were eating in our truck instead of me choking and gagging in the restaurant. I don't recall having uncut grapes in this chicken salad before. My sandwich was awful. There was very little salad in the sandwich. And what was there, was mostly large uncut grapes, at least one piece of apple, and very little chicken or pecans. How ironic that I had actually ordered the grape salad on the side. But the pecan topping was very skimpy!Let me put it this way...I obviously like grapes. But a grape sandwich? Not so much. I am very disappointed in the quality of their product! It has really declined since this summer.

The restaurant was clean. The employees who were taking the orders were nice and patient. The food came out pretty fast. The croissant was fresh and soft. The chicken salad was really good. Love those little sugar cookies!!! I ended up with the Cranberry Kelli with the broccoli salad. SO GOOD!!

Stopped over for a salad after eating two days worth of fast food and gas station snacks during a cross-country trip, absolutely loved the dill-icious chicken salad and the seasonal salad. The strawberry lemonade had me replaying the scene from Bridesmaids where she just sits in her car going “SH!T THAT IS FRESH”
