Brister's Smokehouse Bbq - Ruston

The breeze was really good, delicate and tasteful. Pork and ham could have been better, pork was a little dry and lack of taste. The ham had not much taste (smoke, spices)

Fantastic grilling in Ruston. You have the best Grill nachos I've ever had. Get them full with their spread charge meat special and you can go?t wrong. They also have great brisket, ribs and baked potatoes to die.

The brisket was dry and chewing without taste. Our To-go order had served sides in cups the same size as the sauce. And no extras such as pimples or paprika that contain other BBQs. People were friendly and polite, but for a $20 record I expected more.

Excellent Barbecue Place! I got the pulled pork barbecue sandwich and it was outstanding. Mac and Cheese was really good too and the service was much faster than I anticipated. Friendly service and I would definitely come again.

I thought Bristers was very good, the smoked flavor was very prominent and the meat was melt in your mouth tender. the BBQ sauce itself just did not stand out, it was good but did not have the zesty southern flavor that you expect down here. the sides were ok, enjoyed the potato salad and beans. all in all, a very pleasant dining experience.
