Restaurant bewertenThis California Tortilla location was the best in the general area and those I visited during the excursions. Something has definitely changed here and it is not for the best. I ordered my family 's usual: classic Burrito bowl with Tofu, Fajita Burrito and the Californian Screamin Burrito. For the second time in about three orders we were told that Tofu was not available for the Burrito Shot, this is a real bummer for my daughter who is vegetarian. The darkened chicken was basically a burned crab and very hard, not what is considered darkened. It's just obvious what happened to stay here and I can't recommend the Royersford location of California Tortilla. I don't know if it's management or bad training for the chefs, but at $10 11 per person it's not worth $35 for the three things I get. There are other possibilities out there, and I would like to point out that there is a better southwestern cuisine.
I routinely visit this location, usually for take out but we decided to dine in on our most recent visit. The staff are all friendly and the food preparation is prompt. I am a big fan of the screamin' burritos, can't go wrong with them in my opinion.
Employees came off rude and for the price of the food items the quality is nowhere near that of a Moes, Chipotle, or Qdoba. My wife also ordered a quesadilla with out any sauce on it, but the employee who made the quesadilla put BBQ sauce on it.
So like always against my will we ordered takeout and choose California Tortilla in Royersford. Ordered online go to pick it up come home naturally they didn?t check the order at all and miss an entree (shrimp Bangkok) I drive back ask to speak to a manager and the person just looks at me and then says why? I explain and she starts making the missed item. Never says another word. Mentioned it again and nothing not a peep. Puts the finished food on the glass and turns and walks away. Are you kidding me is that how they teach customer service? At minimum, I should have been refunded for the missed item. I missed birthday dinner for my father because they screwed up. Ridiculous and terrible service.
I come here regularly and am a big fan of the food. However, that has all changed, because today I saw a piece of plastic in my fajita burrito. Thank God I wasn?t injured or choked on this, and the second I brought it back in, I received horrendous customer service and at first they didn?t believe something like this had happened. Needless to say, I got my money back, walked out, and will never be going back to this establishment in my life, until they learn how to not put plastic in my food, and treat customers with respect. Classless.
