Restaurant bewertenFish was Incredible. Gigantic pieces. Pictures don't do it justice. Cooker to perfection. Pretzels beer cheese dip and Scott eggs came to the table on the cooler side. Loved the Pretzels. Staff was super sweet young lady with accent. Fun date place.Good atmosphere. Nice drink selection.
A British pub in Round Rock? How cool is that? We came in a Sunday afternoon and a few people were watching football on the tvs but it was otherwise pretty empty and we were seated right away. Service was friendly and attentive. I really loved the fish andchips with malt vinegar. Very delicious and seemed authentic. The kids pizza was ok but the kids hamburger was very small andsad I totally understand that is not in their wheelhouse. Overall a fun place to grab a pint. I will absolutely be back forthe fish and chips again.
Haven traveled to London and ate just a blocks away from the Tower Bridge, I can say that the food was a good attempt to real thing. The scotched egg was very good and better than what I tried to accomplished my first few times making the dish. The NorthAtlantic Cod was perfectly cook and paired well with their sauces. I do wish the batter had more of the beer taste in there. Dobe prepared it is as long as my forearm (for an average size man). You could order this for two but there is an $4 up charge fordoing so. The sausages were delicious, they were the hero of their dish. The IPA went down smooth for a local beer. But I doencourage to come here to try everything, support the local Austin FC team and cheer on with fans.
High quality food, with great portions, friendly service, and an amazing beer selection. It was a lazy weekend and my wife didn 't feel like making dinner, so we thought we would try something a little different, so we gave The Kenney Fort Pub atry. As you walk up, the first thing you realize is that the place is huge for a strip mall restaurant. We were greeted by afriendly gentleman with an English accent and, even though there were only four of us he offered us his largest booth table outof kindness. Once we were seated, we were introduced to Jacob, a very confident young man who you could tell likes his job. Asan appetizer of sorts, we tried the beer flight. It 's a beer sampler they serve on what is basically a cutting board withdivots carved out to look fancy with the glasses. We 've never had that before and we didn 't know what beers to get, so Jacobkindly queried our normal beers and based on our answers selected the beers he thought we would like the best. He did awonderful job because my wife and I enjoyed each and every one. For our entree, my wife ordered their fish and chips, the kidsshared a ten inch personal pizza, and I got the Kenney Fort burger. When the food arrived the first thing you notice is how welldone everything looks, and that they don 't skimp on the potions. Often, when you buy things off the kids menu the cooks don 'tseem to care about the quality, usually working out to food that tastes like leather. The pizza, even though it 's a kids ' meal, looked pretty well prepared. My burger was one of the best burgers I 've ever had. It tastes like they cooked it over an openfire, and they 're flexible about cooking the burger as you request, as opposed to a corporate chain restaurant. My wife 's fishwas very moist and flakey. She loved it. The cherry on top was after we were done Jacob told us that the kids ' meal came with ascoop of ice cream. Again, the food didn 't disappoint. It was a very high quality vanilla which the kids adored
Glad I've found an excellent British Pub in our area. Started off with a hummus appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. The nan was toasty but soft. Followed that up with Bangers and Mash, which was excellent. Sausage was flavorful but not tough. Mashwas perfect consistency with good taste.
