Restaurant bewertenI am a loyal customer, and I want to share feedback about my recent visit to Cork Barrel. Although I hate to complain about servers, Amy was particularly slow during our dining experience. It took two hours to have dinner, 20 minutes to receive a Guinness, and an additional 15 minutes to get our check. Maybe she was having a bad day, or perhaps there were staffing issues. Nevertheless, I hope that when we visit again, we can have a different server. Thank you.
I was pleasantly surprised by the fish and chips at Cork Barrel Craft Kitchen! The batter was crispy and the fries were delicious. However, I was not impressed by the bread appetizer; it was just a loaf of bread. The seating options, both indoors and on their spacious patio, were fantastic. I definitely plan on returning, especially to try out their desserts which look delicious.
This restaurant always offers delicious food and a pleasant ambiance. The dishes are flavorful with a variety of textures. I especially like the cozy fire and the expansive windows.
My husband booked a reservation for us at 12:45 for Mother's Day brunch at this restaurant. The indoor facility was very nice and they also had a big patio with outdoor seating. When we arrived, no one asked for our reservation or name and just seated us at a table. The restaurant was quite busy and the brunch was buffet style, which was priced at $55 per person. I did receive a free mimosa for Mother's Day. The buffet had a lack of quality and selection, with messy and picked over platters. Children were left unattended and caused chaos by touching and spilling food. There was no option to order off the menu for Mother's Day. I may give this restaurant another try and update my review, but I do not recommend it for brunch events.
One of the restaurant staff members did not wash their hands after leaving a bathroom stall, which was quite troubling. However, the bathrooms themselves were fantastic. The food and alcohol were top-notch, with a rating of 10/10. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were on the smaller side. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I particularly enjoyed the steak and eggs and the sourdough toast. I would give it a 3 out of 5 due to the bathroom incident and small portions, but I would still consider going back again.
